Editorial note: As usual members of the organisations and not members of the organisation will show objects in and around the Sablon in Brussels. David Norden decided not to show objects in Brussels this year since he is not an official member of the Bruneaf. You can meet him in Antwerp to see his African Art Collection (preferably by appointment).

BEFORE buying it is STRONGLY recommended to ask exhibitors to deliver a written certificate of authenticity that at least should feature a photograph of the object, the culture of origine, the presumed age, and previous ownerships or publications, date and signature of the seller, and a short description of the object and tribe use. You should always request a certificate from the dealer you are buying from, and only buy from dealers in good standing or recommended by other dealers.
