OBIT: Francine N’diaye

 

I received an information about the death of Francine N’diaye. We will rememnber here as a scholar who callaborated to many important African Art books.

Ndiaye, Francine, Professor
Scholar. Ethnologist and historian. Formerly in charge of the African department Musée de l’Homme in Paris (1968-1994). Formerly professor “d’Histoire de l’Art à l’École des Beaux Arts” in Dakar. She made many publications. i.e.: “De l’Art d’Afrique à l’Art Moderne. Aux Sources de la Création. Paris, 1995.
